The Kentucky Association of Manufacturers (KAM) is conducting a series of Business Briefings throughout the state in order to help address some of the most important issues affecting the manufacturing industry. This series of concise, insightful seminars is designed to focus on key topics, answer your questions, and provide an opportunity for key decision makers to come together to discuss the challenges in the industry.

Seminars will be held in various locations throughout Kentucky and will feature rotating topics including: Business Expansion, Healthcare Reform, Technology, Legislative Tax Reform, The Internet of Things, and other new innovative and creative topics affecting the manufacturing world.

About Briggs & Stratton:
Briggs & Stratton established a plant in Murray, KY in 1985. It is a vertically integrated, focused factory with a product line of Overhead Valve, vertical shaft, gas powered engines in 125cc and 140cc displacements. In addition to the assembly operations, the Murray plant also houses die casting and machining processes. The Murray plant will produce over 3 million engines each year to support a global customer base.
