KAM President & CEO Announces Retirement

The Kentucky Association of Manufacturers (KAM), Kentucky’s most effective advocate for manufacturers, announces that President & CEO Greg Higdon has informed the Board of Directors of his plan to retire from his position. Kentucky Places Second in National Rankings for 2016 Economic Development Success

Kentucky placed second nationally in economic development projects per capita last year and first in the South Central region according to Site Selection magazine, Gov. Matt Bevin announced today. LIFT, KY FAME to roll out teacher externships to connect classroom with manufacturing

Lightweight Innovations For Tomorrow (LIFT) and the Kentucky Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education (KY FAME) today announced the pilot of a statewide rollout of a teacher and instructor externship program with the state’s manufacturers. Majority Leader Jonathan Shell Passes Workforce Development Legislation Requiring ‘Essential Skills’ in K-12 Education

Today, the House passed a critical measure to provide K-12 students with an essential skills curriculum, which includes vital skills for anyone entering the workforce.
