Manufacturing Week 2021

COVID-19 EVENT UPDATE: Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation and a limit on visitors within the Capitol and Annex, KAM is reevaluating the 2021 Manufacturing Week Event. Please check back here for updates or email Jena Scott.

Manufacturing Week at the Capitol: Feb. 23-25, 2021

What is Manufacturing Week at the Capitol?

Manufacturing Week is February 23-25, 2021, inside the Kentucky State Capitol. The objective of these three days at the Capitol is to enhance legislator understanding of the importance of the manufacturing industry to the Commonwealth’s economy and Kentuckians’ quality of life in a trade show-type setting. In addition to information about your company or organization, we hope that you will bring information regarding its economic value to Kentucky.  You also may bring models of a product that you manufacture or an illustration of your services. We also encourage you to meet with your legislator during this time, and KAM will help schedule that if you are interested.

Who is invited to participate?

This event focuses on three core manufacturing sectors in Kentucky: Automotive (Feb. 23), chemical (Feb. 24), and the aerospace/aviation (Feb. 25) industries. We invite anyone involved in these industries to participate, and we hope to expand the industry selection in future years.

How long does the event run?

The event begins at 9:00 AM and runs until 2:30 PM each day.  Setup must be complete by 8:30 AM.  Legislators, their staff, and visitors are expected to pass through the display area at any time throughout that period, so it is important that you be at your display at all times with this exception.

What are the setup arrangements?

The event will be held on the mezzanine level of the Capitol Building overlooking the Rotunda.  You will be assigned a rectangular table for displaying your information and materials. KAM will provide a sign for each table indicating the name of your company or organization.

Pop-up/banner-up posters will be permitted, but do not block the walk ways (front of table).  For the most part, the display area is open, and Security and Fire Marshall personnel must have a direct line-of-sight across the mezzanine at all times.  Posters for table top display can be three-foot in height.

Electrical outlets are not available in the display area.

What does the $100 Exhibitor registration fee include?

The registration fee includes a 6ft table for setup, two chairs, a white tablecloth, and a boxed lunch for two participants. Up to two more additional lunches can be purchased at-cost.
