KAM Joins Forces with AGC of Kentucky to Offer Joint Membership Opportunity

In a significant development aimed at strengthening Kentucky’s core industrial sectors, the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Kentucky and the Kentucky Association of Manufacturers (KAM) have announced a new membership alliance. Members of each respective organization will have the opportunity to join the other under a nominal fee structure. This collaborative effort is designed to leverage the strengths of both organizations to enhance growth, innovation, and workforce development in the construction and manufacturing industries across the state.

Uniting for Growth and Innovation

Richard Vincent, Executive Vice President of AGC of Kentucky, emphasized the importance of the collaboration stating, “This partnership represents exciting opportunities for both organizations. By working together, we can drive more comprehensive development and tackle the unique challenges our members collectively face today.”

Key Objectives of the Partnership

The collaboration is set to focus on several strategic objectives:

  • Workforce Development: Initiatives to attract, train, and retain skilled workers are at the forefront of the partnership. Both associations will collaborate on initiatives designed to fill the skills gap in the labor market.
