KAM’s Defense and Aerospace Council’s (DAC) mission is to promote and grow Kentucky’s defense and aerospace sectors. Kentucky companies are designing and building products for use in space, aviation, national and international security, logistics, advanced air mobility, plus the closely-related fields of energy, safety, and other transportation modalities. KAM’s Legal Affairs Council (LAC) is the key group of experts guiding KAM’s interaction with the judicial branches of the state and federal governments. The LAC monitors state and federal legal issues and litigation that may impact Kentucky manufacturers and Kentucky’s business climate; makes recommendations on advocacy efforts at the state and federal levels on such issues; and recommends involvement by KAM in state and federal lawsuits and administrative actions important to Kentucky industry. The LAC welcomes input from KAM members and encourages you to reach out if you have suggestions or information regarding important manufacturing and business legal issues.
