KAM Announces Kendall Anderson as the Director of Member Relations

The Kentucky Association of Manufactures is pleased to announce that Kendall Anderson has joined KAM as the Director of Member Relations. Kendall brings with her 20-plus years of experience in non-profit administration, volunteer relationships, and fundraising knowledge. A native of Lexington and graduate of Transylvania University, she has previously worked with Boys & Girls Clubs of America, the American Heart Association, United Way of the Bluegrass, and spent 13 years with the American Cancer Society including roles as the Central Kentucky Executive Director, Corporate Development Staff for Kentucky, Sports Alliances Strategic Director, and nationwide Youth Sports Alliances Director.

Kendall is the proud parent of Madelyn and Hayden. Madelyn is a Junior Marketing & Public Relations Major at Mississippi State University and Hayden is a 4th grader at Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary Parish school. The family resides in Lexington with their rescue beagle.

KAM co-hosts Kentucky Industry Conference

We held this year’s annual Kentucky Industry Conference (KYIC) October 27-29, in partnership with the Metals Innovation Initiative (MI2) and the Kentucky Manufacturing Extension Partnership (KY-MEP)  On the evening of the 27th, we opened the conference with a fireside chat about the rising challenge of Chinese competition with the U.S., specifically as it affects American manufacturing and industry.
